with Us
Our mission is to work with communities across all equality strands to elimate descrimination, attain rights and remove barriers to build a fair and just society. Partnership is at the centre of everything we do and has been since we were established in 1971.
Why partner with us?
We work across all 12 local authorities in the West of Scotland to deliver a combination of grassroot support, mainstreaming equalities within the Public and Private sectors.
In 2020, we revised our vision and aims as a natural transition towards advocating for basic necessities for disadvantaged groups, including human rights and entitlements plus the need to play an active role in society.
Our work
At WSREC, we work with a number of different organisations, across all sectors, to support engagement with minority ethnic communities across the West of Scotland.

Some examples of how we can support, include:
Supporting access to minority ethnic communities to expand and develop your work
Supporting access to employers seeking to promote vacancies and access the talent pipeline of people from minority ethnic communities
Working in partnership to achieve common goals which seek to capacity build people from minority ethnic communities
We also offer the opportunity to promote your organisation and its services, through our website, to a diverse range of minority ethnic communities. There is a one-off fee of £10 for this service.
