Introduction

GCRP has been supporting Eastern and Central European Migrant communities since 2008. The Project’s remit is to provide advice and promote community engagement within these communities. In the last three years we have also focused on capacity building, training community champions and helping setting up community groups.

Main Aims of Project

The Project works to address the gaps of understanding of Central and Eastern Europeans migrants of their rights and responsibilities in a variety of settings and supports that increased visibility of migrants in a civic society.

Project Main Activities:

  • Bilingual Outreach Advice Surgeries supplemented by telephone and email advice.

  • Community Group Development and Training.

  • Community Champion Support.

  • Information Events
