CGSC are looking for a Project Support Worker
Cook, Grow, Sew and Change
7.5 hours per week @ £9.62 per hour
The main duties of the post will be working in partnership with the Activities and Engagement Officer and Outreach Activities Assistant.
To undergo training on Climate Change if required and what measures can be taken by individuals and households to reduce their carbon emissions
Creation and establishing a steering group with volunteers from the project to help and support the delivery of outcomes.
Support the inclusion of target minority ethnic communities in all aspects of the project
Plan and deliver information sessions for minority ethnic groups/organisations including delivering presentations and arranging practical taster workshops to encourage wide participation in all activities that have been allocated to the project.
Provide support to area of activity that work has been assigned to – home energy/recycling/zero waste/young people programme/green space/low carbon food and eco driving.
Record commitments of target households to reduce their carbon emissions and support evaluation of impact through behaviour change.
Support collection of feedback and evaluation material from project participants
Work occasional unsociable hours
Any other duties designated by the Line Manager
